Q: How do I find stuff on BSA110.com?
A: In the upper right corner of every page is a search box (little black box with a magnifying glass in it). Type in a term you want to find and click enter to be presented with the results of your search.
FYI – All Bulletin Board posts contain Tags. Using these in your search makes it easy to find the information you need. You can find a listing of popular tags in the Tag Cloud on the lower left corner of every page. Another way to search is to click on a tag within the Tag Cloud to see all items related to that tag.

Q: How do I search for information about scouting beyond BSA110.com?
A: Go to the Troop Resources page. On the bottom of the page is a Troop 110 Custom Search box. Type in a search term and click enter to receive search results from a wide range of scouting-related web resources.

Q: Why are some words bolded, underlined or in different colors?
A: This is most often a “hotlink” to another section of our site or to another website. Hotlinks an efficient way to put links on a website. You can find hotlinks all over our website. Check out a sample hotlink by clicking on the following bolded words North Florida Council.

Q: How do I register for events?
A: Go to the Calendar page. In the Events Registration paragraph click the word “HERE” (it is a link to the Events Page). On the Events Page every Event Name is clickable link to its detail/registration page. Click the Event Name you wish to register for. Now you are on an Event Detail/Registration page. At the bottom of that page you will see a place to enter the number of spaces, name, phone, e-mail and a comments box to enter additional name(s) for the event. Click the “Send Your Booking” button and you will then receive an email confirming your booking/registration for BSA110.com.

Q: Can I register for an event by making a comment to a Bulletin Board Post?
A: No! In order to properly register for an event you need to do that in the Event Registration area on the Calendar page.

Q: How do I find and access the troop roster?
A: The troop roster is on the Troop Resources page. Simply click the Troop Roster link and you will be prompted to enter the super-secret password. If you don’t remember the password, send an email to webmaster@bsa110.com and you will get an email containing the password (usually within 24hrs).

Q: Why don’t I get an answer when I post a question to a Bulletin Board Comment?
A: The Comment Section is a place to “say” something publicly about a post. You may ask a question, but don’t necessarily expect an answer.

Q: I can’t figure out how to do something on the website. What am I to do?
A: Fill out the form below to send an email to our webmaster. You will receive an answer to your question (usually within 24hrs). If your question is popular it may end up here on the Frequently Asked Questions page to help other people in the future.
