We will meet from 8a to 1p. Please RSVP to Mr. Dealing ASAP!!!
Our online Merit Badge Counselor list was recently updated and now reflects our current Merit Badge offerings.
The troop functions most-effectively if we have a broad offering of Merit Badges and training opportunities for our Scouts.
A few counselors were taken off the list but can be added back pending their registration with Council. If you wish to be a counselor, or update your status please contact Mr. Adams ASAP.
The Leadership Conference (originally planned for Dec. 10-12, 2010) is rescheduled to Feb. 4-6, 2011.
This is our annual THINK BIG conference where we learn teamwork, leadership skills, schedule our year and have FUN. Some new events and a few surprises are being planned to get your noggin rockin’.
Don’t miss out on this great event. Reserve this time on your calendars NOW! Your troop needs YOU with your ideas and your input to keep us moving forward.
Our Cumberland Island Adventure is fast-approaching. This is a backpacking and primitive-style camping trip. It requires more preparation than most camping trips since we will not have the troop trailer and will carry all of our gear for Saturday night on Cumberland Island. Below is the schedule of events leading up to the trip:
Stay tuned to your email for more detailed information.
SUMMER CAMP PAYMENT The second payment was due last week. The third and final payment is due now.
MEDICAL FORM Scouts and adults MUST have the new Annual Medical Form completed and signed by a doctor BEFORE Summer Camp. No form, no camp for you!
YOUTH PROTECTION ALL adult volunteers MUST complete the new Youth Protection Training. All BSA training can be found at MyScouting.org.
Since Youth Protection is now required prior to becoming an adult volunteer, you no longer need a troop ID card before creating a login to complete your training. So, sign-up, login and get your training completed.
The current Webmaster wants to find a “Webmaster In Training.” Over the next six to twelve months this person will learn valueable Web skills including: maintaining a website, managing regular communications goals, WordPress website management tools and few Google-based web apps. If you have a keen interest in the Web and in helping BSA110.com continue its mission as a valuable troop resource, please fill out the following form.

Saturday, July 11th; 11a-12p at the UNF Aquatics Center (map) Cost: $2.75 per person
All scouts and active adults should come regardless if they are attending summer camp or not. That way we can do the whole troop at one time and be covered on future camping trips which may involve water activities in the coming 12 months.
Mr. Crutchfield and Mr. Magee will be the lifeguards. Two volunteers are needed to help as look-outs.
The North Florida Council Aquatics Committee is presenting adult leader training in BSA Aquatics Supervision. The courses are for leaders and adults for water events or paddling excursions where there are no lifeguards. Cost is $15 per session.
