    Mar 1st, 2012 by Troop110

The troop is camping at Cary State Forest on March 9-11. Saturday activities will include Foresty Education and Mountain Bike Trail Riding. This is an excellent opportunity to work on Forestry Merit Badge Requirements – see your Scoutmaster for details.

Any Old Goats are helpful as we are expecting 20 scouts. Adult volunteers are needed to pull Troop Trailer and an extra trailer to transport bicycles.  Cycling adults are very welcome.  All Scouts riding bicycles are required to wear safety gear (helmet).

Head on over to the Event Registration page to get your name on the list.  If you have trouble signing up on-line, email your Scoutmaster to confirm your spot.

    Merit Badge Counselors
    Feb 27th, 2012 by Troop110

Our online Merit Badge Counselor list was recently updated and now reflects our current Merit Badge offerings.

The troop functions most-effectively if we have a broad offering of Merit Badges and training opportunities for our Scouts.

A few counselors were taken off the list but can be added back pending their registration with Council.  If you wish to be a counselor, or update your status please contact Mr. Adams ASAP.

    Summer Camp Merit Badges
    Apr 20th, 2009 by Troop110

Be Prepared! – Review your needs for merit badges. At the April 27th meeting we will begin the sign-up for summer camp merit badges.

The “09 Raven Knob Leaders Guide” is on the Downloads Page and is NOT just for leaders. It is packed with information about merit badges and the camp. Download it and check things out for yourself.

Send an email to Mr. B if you already know what you want for merit badges.

NOTE: We recommend that new scouts enroll in the “Raven Scout” program. This helps them with achievements for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class.
