Webelos from Pack 484 will visit our meeting to check out our troop. As you know, our outstsnding troop needs new members to grow to prosper. These Webelos will decide which troop to cross-over to and we would like to have them join ours.
We also need to plan for the March 9th camping trip and we have a Board of Review scheduled. Please remember – class “A” uniforms!
A briefing about the American Heritage Merit Badge will be held at the March 4th troop meeting. Check out the requirements (HERE).
If you are interested in working on this merit badge:
We are taking a break for the holidays and will not have meetings until after the first of the year. January 7th is our first meeting in 2013. Be sure to attend that meeting since we will have an OA Tap Out that night. See you next year!
We have elections tonight for the Troop! Please wear class A uniforms to the meeting and be ready to participate in your right to select your leaders for the next 6 months.
Troop 110 is NOT hosting a Parent Meeting on Sept. 29th.
You may have received an email announcing a Parent Meeting. The email was an error from another troop. They accidentally sent the agenda of their Parent Meeting to the wrong distribution list – some of us in Troop 110 are on that list.
However, the email did inspire Mr. Walsh to consider hosting a Parent Meeting for Troop 110. The possibility and specifics of our own Parent Meeting are being sorted out now. Stay tuned and we will let you know what comes of it…
Monday, May 16th is Troop Elections
Please Note:
Due to FCAT Exams, the Monday, April 11th meeting will end around 8p. Providing of course that the menus for the upcoming camping trip are wrapped up quickly.
This is to give our scouts plenty of opportunity for sleep and to prepare for their exams. Good luck boys!
ATTENTION!!!
NOTE:
Our Cumberland Island Adventure is fast-approaching. This is a backpacking and primitive-style camping trip. It requires more preparation than most camping trips since we will not have the troop trailer and will carry all of our gear for Saturday night on Cumberland Island. Below is the schedule of events leading up to the trip:
