When you come to the workday please wear clothes you can get paint on and if you have a paintbrush suitable for acrylic latex paint, please bring it.
Mr. Dealing has secured a great NEW location for our Camp Card Show & Sell. It is now at Lowe’s at Oldfield Crossing (map). It is Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10a-2p.
Don’t forget that there is a Troop 110 fundraiser at Zazbys on San Jose @ Marbon (map) for dinner on Tuesday, April 17th. The restaurant will donate a percentage of sales for the evening to Troop 110. The more food purchased the more the troop gets. Tell you friends and family to mention Troop 110 and eat lots… even take some home to fido. See the flyer in the downloads section for more info (here).
The Broxton, GA camping trip to the Dealing Woods is coming up this weekend, Apr 13-15. So far about 13 folks are signed up online. Please get your name on the event registration or email Mr. Dealing ASAP if you want to go. There is a flyer for the event on the downloads page (here).

The March 12th Court of Honor is being postponed. Please stay tuned for a later date to be announced in the near future.
The City of Jacksonville is holding a River Clean Up on March on the 17th (St. Patty Day). Any Scouts interested in getting some service hours and a free T-shirt needs to sign up on the Event Registration Page or contact your Scoutmaster. An info flyer is available in the Downloads Section or HERE.
The troop is camping at Cary State Forest on March 9-11. Saturday activities will include Foresty Education and Mountain Bike Trail Riding. This is an excellent opportunity to work on Forestry Merit Badge Requirements – see your Scoutmaster for details.
Any Old Goats are helpful as we are expecting 20 scouts. Adult volunteers are needed to pull Troop Trailer and an extra trailer to transport bicycles. Cycling adults are very welcome. All Scouts riding bicycles are required to wear safety gear (helmet).

Time to register for the Troop Leadership Planning and Training Conference is NOW! Get your name on the list so your leaders can plan accordingly. The event starts at 5p, Friday, Feb 17th through 5p, Saturday Feb, 18th. We will camp on the grounds at COOS Friday night and have a full day of fun activities on Saturday.

Our troop is having a Leadership Planning and Training Conference starting at 5p, Friday, Feb 17th through 5p, Saturday Feb, 18th. We will camp Friday night on the grounds at COOS.
The goal of the event is to plan our troop’s activities for the balance of 2012 and into 2013. We need everyone to attend so you can share your ideas on where to go camping and the kinds of activities you would like to see. In addition to the planning, we have a number of fun activities planned – and will even squeeze in some leadership training.

God & Family is Friday, Jan 20, 6p through Saturday, Jan 21, 8p at Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran Church. Off Greenland Rd near Philips Hwy (map).
Any scout (13 and up) can stop by any time to help. You will earn service hours as you assist with games, mentoring cub scouts or serving food. Your help is much appreciated, especially with the games that start around 10a on Saturday.
