Alex L. is hosting an Eagle Project workday on Saturday May26th (8a-4p) and Sunday May 27th (8a-2p). Please contact Alex ASAP to let him know if you can or can’t come to help.
Alex scheduled May 26th and 27th as his Eagle Project workdays. His project is to paint a map of the U.S on a basketball court at Julington Creek Elementary (map).
Please let Alex know if you can attend by sending him an email or registering on the Event Registration page.
When you come to the workday please wear clothes you can get paint on and if you have a paintbrush suitable for acrylic latex paint, please bring it.
Grant needs a few people to help with his Eagle Project. He will do some work with power tools and wood staining. The workday is Sat, Oct. 29th from 8a-12p at his house (map). Please email Grant ASAP if you can help.
National Eagle Scout Association – Applications for the “2012 NESA Scholarships” are available at the NESA website. Applications must be postmarked by Jan. 31, 2012. For more info call the NESA office at 972-580-2032.

Zack is having a workday Saturday, Aug. 20th from 10a-3p at the Marywood Retreat Center (map).
The day is dedicated to constructing the skirting and then attaching the skirting and top boards to the benches. Tools Needed: Levels, Tape Measures, Miter Saw, Sawzalls, Screw Guns (Impact) (PRIORITY), Drill Bits, Extension Cords/Splitters, Hammers, Mallets

Zack sent an email recently that had lots of detail about a workday he is planning for Saturday, July 23. This is the same day the troop leaves for summer camp. Anybody who is staying behind is welcome to come help Zack. See the event registration page, the calendar or your email box for details.
At Monday’s meeting Zach announced a workday for July 16th. This workday is postponed. Please stay tuned to this channel for updates.
ATTENTION – All Current and Future Eagle Candidates
A new document called Eagle Project Process is in the Downloads section. This document will answer many questions and help you to better understand the process behind your Eagle Project and beyond.
The document is fairly complete, but it is a work in progress. Edits will take place from time to time and any comments, thoughts or additions are welcome.
Oliver’s Eagle project is to place blue pavement markers in front of fire hydrants like Thomas C. did. He has a workday scheduled for July 9th and a backup planned for July 16th.
The project is in neighborhoods near the intersections of San Jose Blvd. / St. Augustine Rd.; St. Augustine Rd. / Dupont; and Old Kings Rd.
Please register for the event on the Calendar page so Oliver can plan properly. He needs at least three adult drivers and a couple people to bring their digital cameras. Also, if you have brightly colored safety vest(s) please bring them and let Oliver know.
Jenner has an Eagle Project Workday scheduled for Saturday, June 18 at 2p. The project is to build bird and owl boxes. Location is at 3649 River Hall Drive (map).

Thomas C. is planning an Eagle Project Work Day for Saturday, April 9th starting at 8am. Earn service hours and help Thomas. Just use the form below this post to sign up.
The project is to install blue street reflectors which indicate fire hydrant locations. Eleven neighborhoods around the Mandarin Rd., Loretto Rd. and Flynn Rd. areas benefit from this project. The project enables fire departments to easily find 60+ hydrants and create positive safety impact to nearly 700 homes.
