Email a YES or NO to troop110@gmail.com to let us know your interest in going to Olustee.

The DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY put together a unique camping package called Daytona Days to help kick off 100 Years of Scouting.
We need to know who is interested. Daytona Days is January 8-10, 2010. Note: This conflicts with OA Fellowship and the troop originally planned to attend Camporee the following weekend. We just need to see who might consider this as a swap or an addition to Camporee.
For all the details download the Daytona Days Flyer HERE. Then, fill out the form below.
The troop will camp Friday night only and return to COOS late-afternoon on Saturday.
Anticipated weather on Saturday afternoon may cause the obstacle course and repelling tower to close. This will adversely affect a number of our goals for the weekend.
A number of scouts need nights of camping for advancement. By staying just Friday night helps this cause. On Saturday we can still get some other requirements completed before returning to COOS.
Don’t miss out — Sign-Up TODAY!!! The weekend of November 20-22, is our annual Think BIGGER Leadership Conference. We will camp at Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina, FL. This is a great location for some serious fun, troop planning and team-building exercises.

On the weekend of December 11-13, 2009, we are camping at Camp Blanding. This is an excellent opportunity to get in some great activities. The obstacle course and repelling tower are reserved for us. We are crossing our fingers that the laser firing range is open for us too. Camp Blanding requires the troop to supply names of campers four weeks prior to the trip.
Get your name on the list ASAP!!! ASAP means ASAP SOLDIERS!!! Don’t go AWOL on this adventure or you will find yourself peeling prodigious pounds of potatoes at the mess hall!!!
We need to make our reservation for Raven Knob 2010. Please discuss with your family ASAP and select a week (one per family) that works best for you. The deadline for your submission is Sept. 17th. No vote… no voice… Loading…
ATTENTION – The Camp Blanding camping trip has been postponed.
The questionable weather will keep campers off the climbing tower and off a good portion of the training facilities. With those events being the major portion of activities for the weekend the troop leadership decided to postpone the trip to a later date. Stay tuned for a future trip to Camp Blanding.
The summer campers began their journey home on the morning of Saturday, August 1st.
Estimated Time of Arrival Updates

Mr. Walsh reports that all is well at Raven Knob. The food is plentiful and properly prepared. The entire camp is well cared for and all facilities are nice. The boy’s are working dilligently on all their merit badges and things seem go be going as planned. There was a day of rain on Wednesday but it cleared up in the afternoon. All the tents were dry on the inside and everyone is in good spirits.
