ATTENTION – All Current and Future Eagle Candidates
A new document called Eagle Project Process is in the Downloads section. This document will answer many questions and help you to better understand the process behind your Eagle Project and beyond.
The document is fairly complete, but it is a work in progress. Edits will take place from time to time and any comments, thoughts or additions are welcome.

Thomas C. is planning an Eagle Project Work Day for Saturday, April 9th starting at 8am. Earn service hours and help Thomas. Just use the form below this post to sign up.
The project is to install blue street reflectors which indicate fire hydrant locations. Eleven neighborhoods around the Mandarin Rd., Loretto Rd. and Flynn Rd. areas benefit from this project. The project enables fire departments to easily find 60+ hydrants and create positive safety impact to nearly 700 homes.

The Winter Court of Honor is Mon, Dec. 13. Bring a dessert to share. Let’s enjoy our final meeting of the year with family, friends, scouts and good ole’ fellowship!
We will recognize scouts and scouters who recently earned merit and advancement.
AND – not to be missed – the Order of the Arrow Call-Out will take place during a special ceremony conducted by our own OA members.
We hope to see you there!
Our Summer Court of Honor is scheduled for Monday June 14th… Come one come all!
This is our dessert-only COH, so each family brings a family-portion of dessert.

March 15th, 2010 is our Court of Honor. This is the time that all awards, rank advancements, Merit Badges and any other important information are passed along.
All merit badge counselors need to fill out a new Merit Badge Application and Adult Leader Application to continue on as a counselor for CY2010.
2010 Registration fees as are due $55.
This Court of Honor is a full meal. The patrol assignments are as follows: Salad – 11-13 year olds Dinner – 14-15 year olds Dessert – 16-18 year olds The service Patrol is the Troop
Effective August 1, 2009, the National Office will no longer accept Eagle applications prior to the 2009 printing.

Mrs. Walsh will host a Personal Management session on April 6th. If you are working on this merit badge make sure you bring yourself and your materials to the meeting that night. Be Prepared… This Eagle-required badge takes a while to complete and you have limited opportunities to interact with your counselor.
