Alex L. is hosting an Eagle Project workday on Saturday May26th (8a-4p) and Sunday May 27th (8a-2p). Please contact Alex ASAP to let him know if you can or can’t come to help.
You may not have noticed anything unusual but the backend of our website was hacked a week or two ago. The site is now fixed and is more secure than before. If you ever experience anything unusual with the site or notice things that need fixing please drop a quick note to admin@bsa110.com with details.
Also, when you have updates or announcements you want posted to the site Bulletin Board you can email them to that same address.

Alex scheduled May 26th and 27th as his Eagle Project workdays. His project is to paint a map of the U.S on a basketball court at Julington Creek Elementary (map).
Please let Alex know if you can attend by sending him an email or registering on the Event Registration page.
When you come to the workday please wear clothes you can get paint on and if you have a paintbrush suitable for acrylic latex paint, please bring it.
Mr. Dealing has secured a great NEW location for our Camp Card Show & Sell. It is now at Lowe’s at Oldfield Crossing (map). It is Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10a-2p.

Don’t forget that there is a Troop 110 fundraiser at Zazbys on San Jose @ Marbon (map) for dinner on Tuesday, April 17th. The restaurant will donate a percentage of sales for the evening to Troop 110. The more food purchased the more the troop gets. The Broxton, GA camping trip to the Dealing Woods is coming up this weekend, Apr 13-15. So far about 13 folks are signed up online. Please get your name on the event registration or email Mr. Dealing ASAP if you want to go. There is a flyer for the event on the downloads page (here).

The March 12th Court of Honor is being postponed. Please stay tuned for a later date to be announced in the near future.
The City of Jacksonville is holding a River Clean Up on March on the 17th (St. Patty Day). Any Scouts interested in getting some service hours and a free T-shirt needs to sign up on the Event Registration Page or contact your Scoutmaster. An info flyer is available in the Downloads Section or HERE.
The troop is camping at Cary State Forest on March 9-11. Saturday activities will include Foresty Education and Mountain Bike Trail Riding. This is an excellent opportunity to work on Forestry Merit Badge Requirements – see your Scoutmaster for details.
Any Old Goats are helpful as we are expecting 20 scouts. Adult volunteers are needed to pull Troop Trailer and an extra trailer to transport bicycles. Cycling adults are very welcome. All Scouts riding bicycles are required to wear safety gear (helmet).

Our online Merit Badge Counselor list was recently updated and now reflects our current Merit Badge offerings.
The troop functions most-effectively if we have a broad offering of Merit Badges and training opportunities for our Scouts.
A few counselors were taken off the list but can be added back pending their registration with Council. If you wish to be a counselor, or update your status please contact Mr. Adams ASAP.
